You may recall during a press conference on Thursday, February 15, 2018, BPD announced that Micah Hanna and Johnathan Benion both had active Jefferson County Warrants for Aggravated Assault in connection with the January 2018 shooting at the car wash located at 3025 Washington. On Friday, February 16, 2018, Johnathan Benion (AKA Johnny B) turned himself in. Working on a tip from a citizen, investigators located Micah Hanna (AKA Buster/Busta) at a residence in Houston. Hanna barricaded himself inside the residence and after a short stand-off, he was taken into custody! The Beaumont Police Department would like to thank the community for their continued support as well as Jefferson County Warrant Division, Houston PD, and U.S. Marshals for their partnership in locating Hanna and taking him safely into custody! (Pictured below Hanna is on the left wearing black and Benion is on the right wearing orange).
