2016 BEAUMONT TRASH-OFF
The City of Beaumont will host its annual litter pick-up on Saturday, April 9, from 8:00am- 10:30am. The event will be held in conjunction with the Texas Trash-Off, a statewide event that draws tens of thousands of volunteers each year. Materials along with snacks, coffee and water will be available at the clean-up locations that morning.

Early registration also allows the city to accommodate all volunteers with clean-up materials and maps. Volunteers who register must be present to receive a t-shirt and clean-up materials. Teams are responsible for transportation to and from clean-up sites. ALL MINORS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

The 2016 Don’t Mess with Texas® Trash-Off encourages Texans across the state to join forces and clear Texas roadsides of trash. Millions of pieces of litter accumulate on our roadways each year, which means we need your help.
The Don’t mess with Texas Trash-Off is the single largest one-day cleanup event in the state and serves as Texas’s signature event for the Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program. The Don’t mess with Texas Trash-Off is part of TxDOT’s litter prevention program, which includes Don’t mess with Texas, Adopt-a-Highway, and a grassroots partnership with Keep Texas Beautiful.
Join us and be a part of this great event. Your participation sends a clear message to Texans everywhere: The smallest efforts really do make the biggest difference. Join in on this event and help us make a difference. The City of Beaumont is a beautiful place, so help us keep it that way.
