Last night around 2:21 a.m., Beaumont Police Officers responded to the Ok Rodeo Disco Club located at 6035 S. Martin Luther King in reference to a disturbance with shots fired. While in route officers received information, that one person had been shot and was lying on the ground. When officers arrived, they located the victim lying in the northeast section of the parking lot.
EMS arrived on scene and transported the victim to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The victim is identified as Rubin D. Williams, age 41 from Beaumont.
Detectives are following up with information and the investigation is still on-going. We will release more information as the investigation continues.
