Tomorrow, January 26, 2016 at 4:00 pm The Officer Bryan Hebert Memorial Foundation will hold a ceremony to present cadet scholarships in the Beaumont Police Department Training room located at 255 College St.
Please join us in honoring the memory of Beaumont Police Officer Bryan M. Hebert. Officer Hebert was killed tragically in the line of duty on July 8, 2011. The presentation will consist of full scholarships to these qualifying cadets of the LIT Regional Police Academy.
Willie Nolan Melancon– Willie is looking forward to a career in law enforcement. He is preparing to get married soon and finish his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is pursuing his dream job to work for Beaumont or Chambers County as a police officer.
Macie Bergeron– Macie received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Lamar University. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Harvest of Beaumont and works closely with the founder to rescue and rehabilitate victims of human trafficking. She is very involved in her church and her priority is her family.
Kirk Hinson– Kirk recently worked for Jefferson County Corrections. While working there he received his associate’s degree in criminal justice graduating summa cum laude. In his spare time, he enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering for different non-profit organizations and spending time with his wife.
