On February 19, 2016 at 9:15a.m., Beaumont Police Department’s patrol officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Ernestine Drive, in reference to a robbery of an individual. As the officer arrived, the victim, an 80 year old woman, described her attacker as a white male, approximately 5’10” 140lbs, with brown hair, a clean shaven face, and blue jeans, light colored jacket, and a camouflage duffel bag. According to the victim, she walked out of her home around 8:30a.m. and as she opened her garage door and approached the rear of her truck, the actor grabbed her around her shoulders and told her, “Give me all of your money or I will kill you with my gun.” A struggle then ensued between the two. During the struggle, the victim bit the robber’s finger, at which point he began striking her in the face and head. He then tied her up and removed her wallet from her pants, before closing the garage door and exiting through a side door. After being restrained in her garage for some time, the victim was finally able to free herself and make it to a neighbor’s house to get help.
