Just after 9:00pm, Beaumont Police Department’s Patrol Officers were dispatched to the Dairy Queen Restaurant, located at 1065 Washington Blvd., in reference to an aggravated robbery that had taken place. Upon the officers’ arrival, they spoke with one of the employees that was present during the robbery. The employee described the robbers as being 2 black males appearing to be in their mid 20’s. The employee continued the description by stating that one robber wore a dark, navy blue rag over his head and face, and was armed with a small, black semi-automatic handgun. The employee also described the second robber as having dark bandanna covering his face, and a Dallas Cowboys ball cap on his head. After giving the description of the robbers, the employee stated both men entered the restaurant and demanded money from the registers. The employees present retrieved an undetermined amount of money from the registers and handed it to the robbers. After the robbers received the money, they fled the restaurant on foot.
