Beaumont Animal Services Has Set a Goal To Place All Pets in Homes for the Holidays

You can foster a lonely shelter pet! For the Seventh year in a row, Beaumont Animal Services is participating in the national “Foster a Lonely Pet for the Holidays” pet fostering program. Across the country, over 13,000 pet rescue organizations are trying to empty their kennels for Christmas, encouraging members of the public to invite a pet home for the holidays.

People interested in making this Christmas and New Years a happy holiday for a pet in need or who want more information should contact Beaumont Animal Services.

This year, Beaumont Animal Services will have a Christmas Open House on Friday, December 2nd from 1:00 PM till 4:00 PM, at the shelter, located at 1884 Pine St, to Kick-Off the Home for the Holidays Program. This year’s program will run from December 2nd through January 3rd. As an added bonus, all adoption fees will be discounted 50% during the program.

Beaumont Animal Services has an average population of 60 adoptable dogs and 30 adoptable cats. They can be viewed online at www.petfinder.com and on www.facebook.com/beaumontanimalservices . The goal for the “Foster a Lonely Pet for the Holidays” program is to have each of these pets into a home by noon on December 23rd. Call today and pick up an application and don’t forget our extended hours; we are open to the public Monday thru Thursday from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.
