The City’s water billing system is separated into cycles across the city. The cycle is indicated on the bill stub as shown below.
Although the February bills were calculated, the file was inadvertently not generated for printing, and therefore, never mailed. Consequently the bills generated on March 2 for cycle 10 customers, show a “Past Due Amount” which is the February billing and a late fee in addition to the “Total Current Charges” which is the March bill. The late fees are being adjusted off of each account.
