In an attempt to serve a warrant, officers of the Beaumont Police Department went to 125 Interstate 10, #224. Units were looking for suspects in a burglary. Upon knocking, a female subject came out of the apartment and met with police. Then officers saw a male subject inside the apartment close and lock the door. At this time, the subject is believed to be alone in the apartment, but he has barricaded himself inside. SWAT units are on the scene, and attempts to talk the subject out are ongoing.
