Beaumont Firefighters responded to 4462 Dallas Ave at 10:18AM on a report of smoke coming from the home. They arrived and found fire showing from an exterior window. The were quickly able to enter the dwelling and extinguish the fire. It was determined the fire originated on a mattress in an interior room. No one was at home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported. The home sustained moderate fire, heat, smoke damaged.
