On Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 11:40 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to Thirsty’s located at 229 N. Dowlen Road, in reference to a disturbance. When officers arrived at the location, the suspect fled in his vehicle. As the suspect continued to flee from police, two Officers were able to deploy stop sticks, which safely brought the vehicle to a stop. The suspect, identified as Sedric Williams, a 41 year old Beaumont man, was arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Jail for Evading in a motor vehicle, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
