On Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at 10:16 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to the 4200 block of Maddox in reference to a Robbery in Progress. When Officers arrived they located the suspects and attempted to detain them. The suspects fled on foot and after a lengthy search, one suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was identified as Jaquorian Oshae Bourgeois, an 18 year old Beaumont resident. Bourgeois was found to be in possession of marijuana, as well as a short barrel shotgun, which is a prohibited weapon. The robbery victim’s property was located with the suspect. Bourgeois was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and booked in for Aggravated Robbery, Possession of Marijuana, Evading Detention, and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
