On Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 1:38 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to Christ Outreach Ministry, located at 2894 Magnolia in reference to a burglar alarm. BPD Patrol Officers arrived on scene quickly and detained a suspect walking through the parking lot, carrying various items. Officers located a point of entry from the break-in and additional stolen items were found nearby. The suspect was identified as Paul Jay Reed, a 53 year old Beaumont resident. Reed was placed under arrest for Burglary of a Building and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
