On Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 6:57 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to the Family Dollar at 1005 Washington in reference to a Robbery. It was discovered that the suspect, Kevin Savoy, a 44 year old Beaumont Man, entered the store and stole several items then attempted to assault an employee. Savoy was placed under arrest for Robbery and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
