On 01/07/16 at 10:58 p.m., Beaumont Police Department’s patrol officers recovered a stolen vehicle, drugs, and arrested 3 people, one of which had numerous warrants.

Shortly after their shift began, officers in Beaumont’s north end were patrolling in the 5000 block of Helbig Road. While patrolling, officers identified a vehicle that was previously reported stolen. Patrol officers found the vehicle to be occupied by 3 individuals, one of whom was a suspect in several violent crimes.  Officers were able to identify the occupants of vehicle as 24 year old Beaumont resident Ronald Barrett, and 26 year old Beaumont resident Christopher Holman. Barrett was suspected of being involved in stealing the vehicle. While officers were detaining Barrett and Holman, a black female, later identified as Felicia Brown, approached the vehicle. It was determined that Felicia had multiple city warrants, as well as felony warrants out of Houston.

Barrett was arrested due to having multiple outstanding warrants and possession of marijuana, and Holman was arrested for being in possession of an illegal drug, in addition to possessing synthetic marijuana. Brown was arrested for the multitude of warrants she’d accrued. Barrett, Holman, and Brown were all transported to the Jefferson County Jail, and auto theft investigators assisted with the recovery of the stolen vehicle.
