Beaumont Police Dept. Promotional Ceremony Tomorrow, 7/12/18

Please join the Beaumont Police Department on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. for a Promotional Ceremony. The ceremony will be held in the Beaumont Police Training Classroom located at 255 College Street.

The following Officers and Civilians will be promoted:

Sgt. Ron Dischler to the rank of Lieutenant- Ron Dischler, is a 19 year officer with the Beaumont Police Department. He has served in the Patrol Division and recently served in the Criminal Investigations Division.

Officer Matthew Roberts to the rank of Sergeant- Matthew Roberts, is a 7 year officer with the Beaumont Police Department. He graduated from Lamar University with a bachelor degree in Marketing. He previously served in the Patrol Division as a Patrol Officer and was also a Field Training Officer. He recently served in the Narcotics and Vice Unit as a Uniformed Narcotics Officer performing multiple tasks to include highway criminal interdiction.

Chris Davis has been employed with The Beaumont Police Department as a Crime Scene Technician for 21 years. He is being promoted to Crime Scene Supervisor.

Latrechia Harper has been employed with The Beaumont Police Department for 18 years as a Property Technician. She is being promoted to Property Unit Supervisor.

Shaqueena “Sha” Nobles has been employed with The Beaumont Police Department as the Emergency Management Specialist for 4 1/2 years. She is a graduate of Lamar University with a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice and joined the Emergency Management Division after serving 12 years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. She is being promoted to Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator.

Officer Haley Morrow has been with the Beaumont Police Department for 4 years. Officer Morrow served on Patrol prior to being assigned to the Police Community Relations Unit in July of 2016. Officer Morrow comes from a family of Beaumont Police Officers, to include her Father, Brother, and Husband. Her sister is also employed with the City of Beaumont as a 911 dispatcher.
