Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 5:42 pm, officers responded to 1397 Washington (M&M Express) in reference to a victim of a shooting. The victim, a 57 year old Beaumont man was standing outside the store and speaking with an employee. They heard several gunshots and looked to see where they were coming from. The victim realized that he was struck in the abdomen area. The victim and witnesses did not know where the shots came from. Detectives are interviewing any witnesses that were in the area.
