On Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11:12 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to the 1800 block of Euclid in reference to a victim of a shooting. Initial investigation has revealed that the victim was outside working on his car when he was approached by a young adult black male, approximately 5’10, 160 lbs, wearing all black with a black mask and small afro. The suspect produced a handgun and robbed the victim before firing a round, striking the victim in the leg. The suspect fled on foot prior to Officers arriving. A K-9 track was attempted however, the suspect was not located. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
