On Friday, October 23, 2015 at approximately 8:30pm, officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Subway located in the 6100 block of College. A Subway employee told officers a large black male, approximately 6′ tall, with a “fade beard”, in his mid- to late twenties, wearing a black baseball cap, dark sunglasses, and a black t-shirt, entered the store and asked the Subway worker for a cookie. As the worker retrieved the cookie, the black male pointed something in his hand that was concealed by a beanie, at the worker and advised, “Give me all the money!” The employee feared it was a gun and the suspect was able to gather the money from the cash register. He then thanked the Subway employee and left the business on foot, north bound. Witnesses did not see if he got in a vehicle or continued on foot.
