On Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:30 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to a Major Traffic Crash in the 3700 block of West Cardinal Dr., Southbound. Preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle was traveling in the left lane, Southbound, when a bicyclist entered the roadway and was struck by the traveling vehicle. The bicyclist, identified as 44 year old Darrell Henderson, was pronounced deceased on scene by Beaumont EMS. The investigation is on-going.
