On Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 11:28 a.m. Beaumont Police responded to the 5600 block of West Cardinal Drive (East Bound) in reference to an Auto Pedestrian Crash. When Officers arrived it was learned that the driver of a red, Nissan Titan lost control of their vehicle and struck a member of a road construction crew. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The victim is identified as Alfred Earl Dingler, a 57 year old Liberty man. Next of kin has been notified. The crash is still under investigation.
