On Thursday, June 18, 2019 at 8:00 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to the 2200 block of Evalon Ave in reference to a burglary and possible arson. Officers arrived and located the deceased body of a white female inside the residence. Detectives are investigating to determine the circumstances that led to the victim’s death. At this time, it is being investigated as a homicide. The name of the victim is being withheld, pending positive identification and next of kin notification.
