On Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 11:42 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to Forrest and McFaddin in reference to two victims of a shooting. Officers arrived and located a male and female suffering from gunshot wounds to their lower extremities. Several witnesses stated that a tall, thin, black male wearing a mask got out of the back seat of a white, 4 door sedan and began shooting at several subjects that were in the area. The victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
