Saturday, May 9th at approximately 7:02 pm. Beaumont Police Officers responded to the 1700 block of Cardinal Hwy. Upon arrival Officers located a male motorcycle rider deceased at the scene.

The Rider was identified as Nequent, Heath. R. (white male 04/14/78).

The Beaumont Police Traffic Unit is still investigating the cause of the accident.
