Beaumont Public Libraries announces: English as a Second Language Classes.

A new English as a Second Language Class for Beginners is being offered at Miller Library on Saturday mornings from 10 am to 11:30.  Instructor:  Mrs. Nancy Suarez-Campos (bilingual).   Interested individuals can show up at Miller Library, complete a registration form, and begin class immediately.

A new English as a Second Language Class for Beginners is being offered at the Main Library on Wednesday Mornings from 10 am to 11:30 and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm.  Interested individuals can come to the Main Library, complete a registration form, and begin class immediately.   Instructor:   Rosendo Ramirez

Beginning Monday, June 11 at 10:00 am., parents. along with their children who are having trouble reading, writing, and speaking in English, are invited to join a class with Dr. Ramirez which will be designed to foster the learning of English by the whole family at home.  Families will be invited to sign up for a library card with Beaumont Public Library System so that they begin using the library and understanding the important role the library can play in helping them become fully functional in the English language.    The class will be held each Monday morning during the summer.
