“A Universe of Stories” is the theme of the Beaumont Public Library System’s 2019 Adult and Teen Summer Reading Program.  Explore the wonders of our universe and learn about the solar system.  Residents are invited to try something new: learn new facts about space or you favorite science fiction film or TV show, read a new book, meet new people.  Everyone is invited to register for our reading program, enter our weekly drawings by reading and writing a review of a book or correctly complete our handouts.  There are six drawings each for adults and teens.  There will be a grand prize winner for both adults and teens: 4 tickets to the Houston Space Center!  All prizes provided by the Friends of the Beaumont Public Library System.

Register at one of the library system’s branches and begin reading on Tuesday, May 28.  Turn in reviews and handouts at any of the branch libraries once you have registered

Once residents have registered, reviews and handouts can be returned to any of the branches for the weekly drawings.  The grand prize winner will be based solely on book reviews submitted.  Each book read & review submitted throughout the summer reading program will be entered into the grand prize drawing.  The grand prize drawing will be awarded on Monday, July 22, 2019.

The guidelines will be available for pick up during May.  Registration begins Tuesday, May 28.  The last day to submit reviews and handouts is Saturday, July 13.  All other information will be available the day of registration.

The adult and teen summer reading programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Beaumont Public Library System.
