On Monday, November 6, 2017 at about 8:26 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Ranier reference a disturbance. Preliminary investigation revealed that an altercation had occurred between Sherecole Wilridge (a 32 year old Beaumont Woman) and her child’s father. During the altercation, Wilridge retrieved a handgun and shot the victim. The victim’s injury was not life threatening, he was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Detective’s interviewed witnesses and Wilridge was placed under arrested for Aggravated Assault- Family Violence. She was transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
