The Beaumont Police Department initiated a criminal and internal investigation of an officer. This officer is on administrative leave with pay as this is standard procedure. No other information will be released while this investigation is ongoing.

He obtained a bachelors degree from Lamar University in 2005 and is a certified instructor in many different areas.
