BPD Arrest 13 Year Old Male for Aggravated Robbery and Evading in Motor Vehicle

                                                      

Monday, April 13, 2015 at 9:16pm, a female called to report she had been robbed of her taxi by a male with a shotgun.

The taxi driver told officers she was called to Thames and Margo St.  by the male. He got in the taxi, pointed a shotgun at the victim and told her she was being robbed. The victim quickly fled the car on foot, at which time the juvenile suspect got in the driver seat and fled in the vehicle. The vehicle was spotted south on Concord Rd a short time later, and after a brief pursuit, the driver was taken into custody behind the Target shopping center. The firearm was recovered in the vehicle.

The 13 year old juvenile suspect was transported to Juvenile Detention and booked in for the Aggravated Robbery and for Evading in a motor vehicle.
