On Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., Chief James Singletary will swear in four new Beaumont Police Officers and promote one Officer to the rank of Sergeant. Please join us in the BPD Training Classroom, located at 255 College Street as we congratulate these Officers on their special occasion.

Officer Michael Roberts- Promoting to the rank of Sergeant- Michael Roberts is a 9 ½ year veteran of the Beaumont Police Department. He attended the University of Texas, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. In addition, Michael currently holds his Master Peace Officer Certification. Most recently, Michael severed the Department as an Investigator in the Narcotics Unit. He is also an active member of the Beaumont SWAT Team. Upon promotion, Michael will be assigned to First Watch in the Patrol Division.

Andrew Allen, is a 23 year old resident of Beaumont. Prior to joining the Beaumont Police Department, Andrew was a Corrections Officer.

Alejandro Guadian, is a 26 year old Beaumont resident. He attended Lamar University, where he earned his Bachelor’s and Masters Degrees is Criminal Justice. In addition, Alejandro was the Valedictorian of the Spring Lamar Institute of Technology Police Academy.

Brandon Prejean, is 38 years old and served five years in the United States Navy as a Military Police Officer. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.

Joshua Sherman, is a 31 year old resident of Orange. He served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps prior to joining the Beaumont Police Department.
