On Friday, January 15, 2016, the Beaumont Police Department will be promoting officer John Kenna to the rank of Sergeant. Officer Kenna has served as a patrol officer with Beaumont PD for 7 years now. In addition to promoting Officer Kenna to Sergeant, Beaumont PD will be swearing in 10 new officers.
Jake Best, a 22 year old man from Orange, TX, graduated from Sam Houston State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree.
Jacob Froman, a 23 year old from Beaumont, TX, attended Lamar University and comes from a family of law enforcement officials.
Darron Wilkerson, a 27 year old from Beaumont, TX, recently graduated from the L.I.T. Regional Police Academy. Prior to attending the academy, Darron was a 911 Dispatcher.
Daniel Bacchiocchi, a 30 year old from Santa Rosa, CA, attended Lamar University. Daniel is the proud father of 2 awesome sons.
Cody Hussey, a 26 year old from Lumberton, TX, earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Lamar University. Cody recently graduated from the L.I.T. Regional Police Academy as well.
Antonio Furr, a 27 year old from Long Beach, CA, recently graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor’s Degree. Antonio served as a Correctional Officer for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for 4 years prior to graduating the L.I.T. Regional Police Academy. Antonio is the proud father of a young daughter.
DeAnna Wiltz, a 26 year old from Houston, TX, recently graduated from the L.I.T. Regional Police Academy. Prior to graduating from the police academy, DeAnna was a 911 Dispatcher and worked as a Correctional Officer for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office before that.
Jack Kennedy, a 28 year old from Beaumont, TX, served 7 years in the U.S. Navy and received an Honorable Discharge prior to pursuing a career in law enforcement. Jack recently graduated from the L.I.T. Regional Police Academy.
Dana Baker, Jr., a 26 year old from Beaumont, TX, attended Texas Southern University and recently graduated from the L.I.T. Regional Police Academy. Dana is the proud father of 2 great sons and 1 awesome daughter.
Dorian Pantallion, a 25 year old from Beaumont, TX, is a recent graduate of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Police Academy. Dorian comes from a law enforcement family as well, and served as a Correctional Officer for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for 3 years prior to joining Beaumont PD.
The promotional ceremony and Oath of Office ceremony will be held at the Beaumont Civic Center, 700 Main Street, at 10:30a.m. Congratulations to Officer Kenna for the upcoming promotion, and to these 10 new Officers!
