The Beaumont Police Department is committed to being proactive in cultivating positive relationships with the citizens in our community. Our various community outreach programs, such as Cops and Kids and the Citizen’s Police Academy, are designed to educate everyone about personal safety and crime prevention, while building trust between police officers and members of the community. During our recent Community Forums, hosted by BPD’s Clergy And Police Partnership, several attendees requested a video to educate the public on what to do if they are ever pulled over by a Police Officer. The Beaumont Police Department’s Police Community Relations Unit created a video of basic traffic stop procedures. We will share the video on our Beaumont Police Facebook Page, as well as our Beaumont Police Youtube Channel.

Our hope is that this Traffic Stop video gives our citizen’s an idea of what to expect during a Traffic Stop with a Beaumont Police Officer and eases any concerns they may have.
