On Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 5:30 p.m., Chief Singletary will hold a press conference regarding the Line of Duty Death of a BPD Officer and the serious injuries of a second Officer, following a crash caused by a wrong way driver. The press conference will be held in the Training Classroom at the Beaumont Police Department located at 255 College St. The press conference is open to media only and doors will open at 5:00 p.m. for equipment set up.
