Please join the Beaumont Police Department on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Beaumont Event Centre as we celebrate career milestones of these police officers and recognize special contributions made to the police department by others.
Promotional Ceremony –
Officer Cody Foote promoted to the rank of Sergeant – Cody has served the Beaumont Police Department for 14 years and holds a Master Peace Officer Certification. Cody served the Patrol Division as a Field Training Officer, as well as a member of the Special Response Team, Honor Guard Rifle Team, and as a K-9 Officer. Cody will serve as a Sergeant in the Patrol Division.
Oath of Office Ceremony-
Officer Katie Garris has 2 years of law enforcement experience and previously earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Officer Jeffery Busby has 10 years of law enforcement experience.
Officer Brianna Ortegta previously attended Lamar University, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Criminal Justice. Brianna is also a recent graduate of the LIT Regional Police Academy.
Officer Ryan Reaves, previously attended Texas A & M University and is a recent graduate of the LIT Regional Police Academy
Officer Sheena Yarbrough attended Lamar University, where she earned her degree in Criminal Justice and is a recent graduate of the LIT Regional Police Academy
Officer Bradley Martin attended LeTourneau College, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is a recent graduate of the LIT Regional Police Academy.
Officer Nelson Tassin attended Lamar University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is a recent graduate of the LIT Regional Police Academy.
Officer Kendrick Goolsby earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University and is a recent graduate of the LIT Regional Police Academy.
Officer Daniel Hidalgo previously served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and is a recent graduate of the LIT Regional Police Academy.
Officer Alexander Golabian attended the University of Houston, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Administration and is a recent graduate of the LIT Regional Police Academy.
Officer Houston Reese previously attended Blinn Junior College and is a recent graduate of the LIT Regional Police Academy.
Officer Matthew Neal previously served with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office for 1.5 years and most recently served with the Lumberton Police Department for 2 years. Prior to his law enforcement career, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Adrian College
Officer Michael Ballard is a recent graduate of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Academy.
