(July 3, 2019 – Beaumont, Texas) Beaumont Animal Care is at full capacity in their cat rooms and need your help! With over 100 cats and kittens in the shelter this week and an average of nine coming in per day, the staff is facing hard decisions of what to do with them.

In an effort to maintain the shelter’s “No-Kill” status, Beaumont Animal Care is offering FREE or Waived adoptions for all kittens (3) months old or younger, for the all the month of July! “This is the perfect time to help out the animals and find your new furry friend”, states Matthew Fortenberry, Manager of Beaumont Animal Care. “With so many animals coming into the shelter, both cats and dogs, we are getting stretched thin. Not only are we out of cages and kennels but the chances of disease transmission increases and the staff can barely keep up with the cleaning.”

The potential adopters will still have to fill out adoption applications and schedule appointments for the spay or neuters, but what a better way to help out the shelter than adopting a new furry friend. The public is also encouraged to share our animals from the Beaumont Animal Care’s Facebook page, foster a pet or come to the shelter and volunteer their time.
