The City of Beaumont is pleased to host an ongoing and collaborative research project on Blue-Winged Teal and sympatric waterfowl at Cattail Marsh

The City of Beaumont is pleased to host the United States Geological Survey (U.S.G.S.), United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the University of Georgia, and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. They are part of an ongoing and collaborative research project which captures and gathers data on Blue-Winged Teal and sympatric waterfowl at Cattail Marsh.

Cattail Marsh will be closed to the public on the days of March 15 and March 22, 2016.
