The City of Beaumont plans to resume garbage and waste pickup on Friday, September 1, 2017.

They will begin household garbage pickup on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Then on Monday they will resume the regular garbage pickup schedule and add heavy trash pickup.

Citizens are reminded to separate debris as follows:

Stack green waste (as in trees and bushes) so that it may be processed through a wood chipper into one pile. Yard waste, such as leaves, must be placed in bags for collection.

Construction and demolition material needs to be placed into a separate pile.

Refrigerators and freezers should be emptied and sealed with duct tape before being placed for pickup. This is a safety issue and sealing them with duct tape may prevent a child from getting into one and getting trapped.

Do not put your trash/debris/refrigerators/freezers onto the roadway or in a ditch. Place them as close to the roadway as possible without blocking or covering any fire hydrant. If these items are mixed, your debris will not be picked up.
