Today, the City of Beaumont has partnered with SeeClickFix to announce a new mobile app (called “Beaumont 311”) that will allow citizens to report quality-of-life and non-emergency issues to the City. The app replaces GoRequest, which is the City’s current 311 mobile app.
With the free Beaumont 311 mobile app, Beaumont citizens will be able to provide city staff with pictures, videos, specific descriptions, and more — valuable information needed to get the job done efficiently. In addition, the Beaumont 311 platform provides City officials with a centralized issue management system to manage issues from creation to resolution — engaging citizens throughout the process.
In addition to reporting problems, the new Beaumont 311 app allows citizens to create their own “watch areas” to receive notifications about all the issues reported in their community, enabling them to follow the progress of all service requests — not just the ones they report.
The Beaumont 311 mobile app is free to download and is available on Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seeclickfix.beaumont311.app) and iPhone (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/beaumont-311/id1177521255?mt=8).
