The Accounting Division maintains the City’s financial records and provides financial information to both internal and external audiences. Financial reporting includes the preparation of monthly financial statements, single audit report and the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). The division is also responsible for the disbursement of all City funds, including payroll.
Fleet Management provides maintenance for City owned vehicles and fleet equipment. The program provides city-wide, 24-hour automated fueling and staffed parts and repair facilities. The City fleet is comprised of more than 1,200 units.
The tax rate for tax year 2016 (fiscal year 2017) is the same as the prior year at $0.69 per $100 of valuation. The rate dedicated to general operations is $.48381/$100 of assessed valuation and the rate dedicated to debt service is $.20619/$100.
