Monday, December 12th, 2016, at 10:52 p.m., officers responded to 3010 Washington Blvd (Magic Touch Game Room), in reference to an unknown call for police. Officers discovered the clerk was shot during an aggravated robbery.
Two males, possibly Hispanic, entered the game room, put a dark handgun to the clerk’s head and began giving orders. One of the suspects kept watch over the clerk, the front of the business and 7 customers while the other suspect tried to break in to machines with a crow bar. The suspects became impatient and assaulted the clerk. They drug the clerk around and one of the suspects fired at least two shots and struck the clerk in the right leg. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction of travel.
The 7 customers in the store did not call, stay to speak to officers or try to help the clerk.
The clerk was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital and taken to surgery.
Suspects are described as possibly:
1) Hispanic male, 19-24 years of age, 5’10, 180-190 lbs, wearing black NY Yankees baseball cap, light colored hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black and white tennis shoes
2) Hispanic male, 19-24 years of age, 5’10, 200-210 lbs, wearing black baseball cap with red bill, blue jacket with possible Houston Texans emblem, red shirt, and black pants
