On Monday, July 17, 2017 at about 12:19 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to the 200 block of Rosine, in reference to a Victim of a Shooting. Preliminary investigation reveals that two individuals were in front of a residence when they were approached by a black male suspect. The suspect displayed a handgun and attempted to rob the victims. During the robbery, the suspect shot one of the victims. That victim was able to return fire at the suspect. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and it is unknown, if the suspect was injured. The investigation is still on-going.
