Detectives are working to identify two men killed in what appears to be an early afternoon disturbance in Beaumont’s north end.

At about 1:07 p.m. today, Patrol Officers responded to a reported man down in the 6700 block of Bigner.  When officers arrived, they found a man bleeding from multiple wounds to his upper body.  Beaumont EMS transported the man to St. Elizabeth ER under a trauma alert.  Upon speaking with neighborhood residents, the officers learned that the man had reportedly been at a house in the 3300 block of Roland.  Officers went to that location and found the front door to the house ajar.  Officers could see into the front room and saw another man on the couch.  The man was deceased and had multiple wounds to his upper body.

As officers were searching the scene and canvassing the neighborhood, St. Elizabeth Staff advised that the man transported to the ER had died as well.

Detectives are interviewing several possible witnesses and are working to identify the two men and determine a motive for the deaths.

Beaumont Detectives are receiving assistance in the investigation from the Jefferson County Crime Lab as well as the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.

Detectives are asking any person with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 409-833-TIPS.
