Wilcox, Christopher

Detectives have arrested a 29-year-old Beaumont man for his connection to several robberies that have occurred over the past month.

On October 6, Detectives arrested Christopher James Wilcox at his place of employment in Silsbee.  Detectives had obtained an arrest warrant for Wilcox for committing a September 30 robbery that occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center located in the 8300 block of Phelan Blvd.  During that robbery, Wilcox allegedly snatched a purse from a female.

Detectives have also identified Wilcox as the suspect in three separate robberies that occurred in the parking lot of Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen.  Those robberies occurred on September 12, September 17, and September 30.

Wilcox is currently in the Jefferson County Jail on the warrant for the robbery that occurred on Phelan Blvd.  That warrant has a bond of $75,000.  Detectives are in the process of obtaining three additional warrants for the robberies that occurred in the Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen parking lot.
