There are  few details to explain the overnight shooting of a 28-year-old Beaumont man.

At about 3:39 a.m., Patrol Officers responded to the Baptist Hospital Emergency Room in reference to a shooting victim.  Physicians advised that the Hispanic male arrived by private auto.  The people who dropped off the victim then left without providing any information.

Physicians began to stabilize the victim as they treated him for multiple gunshot wounds.   They then prepped him for transport to a Houston area hospital for further treatment. According to physicians, the man’s wounds were not life threatening.

Officers did determine the victim’s identity and address.  They went to his house but did not find any evidence of a shooting.  They continued to search for a possible crime scene but were unsuccessful.
