Detectives have received DNA results from the human skull that was located in the area of Fannett and South 23rd Street, last September. The victim has been identified as Rebecca Sue Myers (pictured below).

Rebecca was not reported missing and Detectives have been unable to locate next of kin at this time. A cause and manner of death have not been determined. Detectives are working to put together a timeline of Rebecca’s last known whereabouts, including who she may have been with. Our records indicate that Rebecca was last seen leaving the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on August 31, 2009. She was 42 years old at that time.

Our hope is that someone remembers Rebecca and can help Detectives piece together a timeline leading up to when she was last seen alive.

If you have any information about Rebecca Sue Myers please contact the Beaumont Police Department at 409-832-1234.
