The Elmo Willard Branch Library is celebrating National Art Appreciation Month with our annual Aspiring Artist Exhibit and a series of art workshops entitled, “Explorations in Art”.  During August, ages 6 through adult can take part in art classes at the Willard Library on Thursday evenings from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.  Different styles of art will be discussed each Thursday and then participants can try their hand at creating artwork.  The following art styles will be covered

  • August 9 – The Silhouette
  • August 16 – Landscapes
  • August 23 – Cubism
  • August 30 – Action Art

The library’s very own library clerk, Ms. Kim will be conducting the workshops each week.  There are no registrations, first-come-first-served.  If there are any questions, don’t hesitate to call Ms. Kim at the library – 409-892-4988.
