Saturday morning, October 15, 2016 at 12:45 AM, officers responded to a major crash on College St. at Reynolds Rd. Upon arrival officers learned 45 year old Beaumont man, Earl Timothy Sigee was driving a brown Cadillac SD and attempted to make an unsafe turn from College St to Reynolds Rd. Sigee turned in front of a blue Jeep Patriot that was occupied by two males. Sigee was killed on impact. Sigee had been at a reunion at the KC Hall, left and was trying to return to the KC Hall. The two males in the Jeep Patriot stayed on scene during the investigation and were later transported to the hospital by private auto.
There was no evidence the driver of the Cadillac or the Jeep were intoxicated.
