This morning at 2:00 a.m. Beaumont Police Officers along with Beaumont EMS responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of 4th street and Bowie involving a black honda civic and a motor cycle. Upon arrival, the motorcycle rider was located and determined to be deceased. The identity of the victim is being with held until proper notifications have been made.
The Beaumont Traffic Unit was called out to investigate the scene. Through the investigation it appears that the Motorcycle was traveling northbound on 4th street when the Honda Civic collided with the motor cycle causing it to lose control.
The driver of the black Honda Civic was arrested for city warrants and the investigation is still on-going and further charges are pending.
