At approximately 10:30 PM, Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to the McDonalds located at 3050 S MLK Pkwy. When firefighters arrived they found a fryer unit on fire. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire and confine the fire damage to the fryer unit. The employees were able to evacuate the restaurant without any injuries. The restaurant will be temporarily closed until cleared by the Beaumont Health Department.
