On Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 5:30 pm, Beaumont Police and members of several other agencies worked together to serve a high risk search warrant at 4890 Beaumont Dr. in Beaumont, Texas.
Detectives had aggravated robbery warrants issued for four men that shot and robbed the clerk at the Stop and Go on April 19, 2016.
One of the suspects, Jakorian Jamaal Sanderson, 19 year Beaumont man, was already in jail for Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon charge he was arrested for on 5-03-16.
Lee’Jaray Smith, 19 year old Beaumont man and Damon Hargrave, 36 year old Beaumont man were arrested during the search warrant.
Kionte Tayon Hawkins, 27 year old Beaumont man was located later at Gulf and Liveoak. Kionte was the suspect that shot the clerk. All four suspects are members of the Gangster Disciples.
We received numerous Crime Stopper tips and they were instrumental in identifying the suspects.
All four suspects have $250,000 bonds.
